WebJunction North Carolina Debuts December 2009

This month, the State Library of North Carolina launches WebJunction North Carolina.   This is an excellent resource for libraries and library professionals as WebJunction promotes collaboration, networking, continuing education, and other resources by creating an environment that:

  • Engages in staff development by learning skills to enhance their careers with relevant online courses covering management, user services, technology, customer service, and many other areas.
  • Communicate and network with friends, peers, and colleagues from across the state and national library community using social tools such as friends, public profiles, groups, discussions, tagging, and recommendations.
  • Share resources by creating their own content, conversations, and communities.
