The major accountability report on North Carolina's community colleges

Critical Success Factors for the North Carolina Community College System

The North Carolina Community College System, the third largest in the United States, provides vital opportunities to the citizens of North Carolina to further their education and to obtain quality job training. Currently, 800,000 students attend the 58 colleges in the system. The system extends from Tri-County Community College in Murphy to College of the Albemarle in Elizabeth City. This annual report, published by the North Carolina Community College System, evaluates each community college by specific performance measures and by its accomplishments in the areas of the System’s Strategic Plan: workforce development, diverse populations’ learning needs, resources, and technology. This report can be downloaded, printed and/or saved for free, and can be found at http://digital.ncdcr.gov/cdm4/document.php?CISOROOT=/p249901coll22&CISOPTR=18407&REC=2.
